Halloween Costumes
Before my daughter was born (in July) I started to make this costume. I wanted to make sure it was done before Halloween. I got a onesie from Hobby Lobby with a 40% off coupon.
3 and taking pictures
Look at this face!
I love my little Darth. Let me tell you he is really crafty.
The following pictures he took.
YES, my 3 year old is a great photographer.
ENJOY!
Fire Mum
Mustard Mum
Purple Petal Flower
Aren't you amazed what he did?
All I did was change the exposure of the pictures.
I was in the center of these shots.
He is a little stud!

Spray Paint meets two old frames
One day I was sitting at home looking at my walls when I realized I had very few pictures of my kids on the wall, none of my girls. We still had the pictures from when it was just my husband and I got married (almost 5 years ago). Our family is on a budget so I kept my eyes out for some nice frames for cheap.
THAN
I discovered some frames sitting around at my in-laws.
They were just what i was looking for, but there were only two.
So this is a continuation of a project I started back in July.
Tools:
SERIOUSLY, I AM IN LOVE!!!!
I will never go back to sanding, brushes, and paint if I don't have to.
****Point the spray part away from you****
Painted everything BECAUSE the mats were stuck onto the picture, but they can out good.
Just what I wanted!
I think they look great!. They came out really good.
Final Cost:
$3.44 Spray Paint (Wal-Mart)
FREE Frames (Chez Mother-in-law)
I have TONS of paint left for another project.
I did walk around my house looking for something else to spray.

Shout out to Picnik.com
I am one of those people who cannot afford really cool shots of my kids by a pro. I would LOVE to have someone take our picture and mount a photographers artwork all over the walls of my home. Some day I will be able to do this, but for now I get to play photographer. On occasions I get some really great shots of my kids. Like the following one of my daughter.

A few months ago my son found this book at the library.
He LOVED it!
Everyday he told me he wanted an explorer costume.
I thought there is no way I can make that

Woody Tutorial.
I am not fancy or do I like to fallow directions. What I did was place the vest I had on my material and cut around it. I made it bigger to have a seam allowance.
I made two of these.
I cut one of my two pieces around the neck to make it come down further
and then cut the piece in half for my vest flaps.
Then the unforgettable happened!!!
Pet peeve number 2 in sewing.
This is me sewing. I thought it would be a fun shot.
My two front parts sewn all around except the parts that I would sew to the back.
I had one happy cowboy in the end.
He even wore it to bed!
I may not be the best sewer, but my boy is happy.
This fabric was 50% off this week at my Joann's.
I purchased a half a yard and I have enough left over to make another one for my 2 year old.
I might even make a baby one of my 3 month old.
Total: $4
$3 Vest Fabric
$1 Hat
Red Fabric on hand
His smile=Priceless
The bandanna was an after thought. I had some left over red fabric and I cut it into a triangle.
I have not even sewn it, but you know he didn't care.
He was in little boy heaven.

Name Frame Tutorial
I promised the tutorial for my name frame. Here is the simple version. SO easy!
If you like my wall paper it is wrapping paper from the dollar section at Target.
Three dollars later I had a chic wall that I took of when we moved.
I used tape to stick it on the wall and it looked great for a year and a half.
I have three children, two of which are toddlers. It is possible that it can stay on.
Okay, back to the tutorial.
You will need:
Spray paint
A picture frame
shower rod
Vinyl letters (silhouette)
Goodwill buy $2.50
I took the picture and glass out and sprayed the frame and rod.
I then got the glass and put my desired lettering.
Mounted my stuff in the wall.
I used hooks and ribbon to get the shower rod stuck on the wall.
Here is the outcome on my wall.
I do plan on having a picture of each of my children to hang from this.
When I do I will post it.
Total cost:
Paint $3
Frame $2.50
Vinyl $5 (coupon at JoAnn's)
$10.50 other stuff was lying around the house

Halloween Decor
Yesterday, I had a few minutes to spare. NOT! I was having company and I needed an excuse to make my house look cute. For months, well more like four years, I have been wanting to make some pillow slips for Halloween. I must say when I am motivated I can work fast. I made four pillow slips in about 35 minutes. I am a fast sewer and plus most of my work had been done like
three years ago.
When I first moved to Georgia I joined a quilting group. We were making Halloween table runners. I still had mine with only the quilt top done all these years. So what did I do yesterday, finally put them to good use. Have a look. I must say they look awesome!!!!
Pictures is sideways, but you can see how cool it came out.
This is my two pillows together. I am looking to make a candy corn one.
If I have sometime.
I made this a while ago. I have my tutorial pictures, I will post them soon.
The thing under is the future home of pictures of my three children.
I have not gotten that far in my crafting.
My THREE children are 3 and under, he will soon be 4,
but you can see why most of my projects are half-way done.
My other Halloween decor. I got the sign last year for like a buck.
Go Me!
The Haunted HOuse Candle warmer is Scentsy.
I got this little guy for like 50 cents and painted him.
Cute and cheap!

One Sunday Morning
I bought this turtle neck at Target knowing I hate wearing them.
Why did I waste my $3? Because I saw potential that this clearance item could be beautiful!
I am pregnant and somewhat in my fluffy state and my pregnant clothes are getting boring!
So here is my transformed shirt. By the way I made my top before church on Sunday. I really needed something knew to wear. Project time was like 2 hours!
